Tim visiting the Mojave Desert for two weeks, courtesy of the Massachusetts National Guard, before he joined the army full time to become a medic. After supporting the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell, Kentucky for a year or so he went back to school at Fort Gordon, Georgia to become an L.P.N.
In 2003 he was assigned to Tripler Army Hospital in Hawaii.
